When it comes to designing with data, accessibility is a factor that’s critical to ensuring easy and deep engagement—yet it’s often overlooked.

Our dataviz team at Starschema Ltd. (now HCL Tech Hungary) has been researching and developing a series on accessibility in corporate data visualization for over a year, resulting in a three-part series. The process took long as we wanted to dive deep, test everything and ensure that we created a practical, comprehensive guide rather than something that just scratches the surface.

Our articles received praise from accessibility experts, and I presented them at Budapest BI Forum and the ECPRD’s (European Centre for Parliamentary Research and Documentation) conference.
